Our Founder
Andrew McIver is from Columbia SC. Attended Clemson University where received a BS in Ceramic Engineering. Spent 25 years in the glass industry making bottles, flat glass, and fiberglass. Moved to Orlando to work as a sales engineer selling into the glass industry. In 2010 came up with the idea of a vent repair device after his wife found a frog in the toilet. Started Avalon Manufacturing to make and distribute them in his garage.
